At the age of 14, and inspired by his father’s artistic practice, Chris Calmer first started morphing photographs into digital drawings before starting shooting his own images. So, in addition to being a great creative, Chris is also a great technician. He creates his concepts and projects from A to Z using his expertise in image manipulation. It's often difficult to tell the difference between what's real or not in his work, and that's probably where the richness of his work lies.
In 2017 he moved to Paris to assist and work as a retoucher on jobs for Galleries Lafayette, Liberty London, Dior, and V magazine.
Chris’ photography has been showcased in publications and brands across different industries such as Puma, Happy Socks, Triumph, Stine Goya, Holzweiler, Stamm, Martin Asbjørn, Vogue Scandinavia, Dansk Magazine, The Forumist, Tank Magazine and many more
