"all dressed up but nowhere to go" Self-PortraitsI was inspired by the idea of personifying an object. A sofa can symbolise both comfort and despair, something that I found interesting as a theme as it relates to lockdown but also more generally - depression. I wanted to capture different emotions in the photography with an intent to convey a human quality to the couch as if it's an extension of me.
